The distinctive unit insignia is engraved on the top of the dome, border of laurel is engraved around the band, on the front and back of the mace a stacked scroll of three, inscribed "U.S. ARMY" "MILITARY INTELLIGENCE" "CORPS BAND." A checky band of two rows encircles the bottom of the mace.
